"God has now revealed to us his mysterious will regarding Christ—which is to fulfil his own good plan. And this is the plan: At the right time he will bring everything together under the authority of Christ—everything in heaven and on earth." - Eph. 1:9-10


One of the great mysteries as revealed in Ephesians 1, is the uniting of heaven and earth under the authority of King Jesus. Because Jesus has come bringing the Kingdom of God, heaven and earth have collided. As Christians, when we submit to rule and reign of Jesus, we play a part in the intersecting of heaven and earth.

"And this is God’s plan: Both Gentiles and Jews who believe the Good News share equally in the riches inherited by God’s children. Both are part of the same body, and both enjoy the promise of blessings because they belong to Christ Jesus." - Eph. 3:6


One of the great mysteries as revealed in Ephesians 3, is the uniting of Jews and Gentiles under the authority of King Jesus. In the Kingdom of God, there are no second class citizens, but all are one in Jesus.

"As the Scriptures say, “A man leaves his father and mother and is joined to his wife, and the two are united into one.” This is a great mystery, but it is an illustration of the way Christ and the church are one." - Eph. 5:31-32


We concluded our “What New Mystery is This” series as Luke taught from Ephesians 5:21-33. We studied the mystery of Christ and the Church which is revealed through marriage.
