WHO WE ARE

Vision
Beliefs
Values
Leadership

Community Christian Church desires to be a church centred on Jesus. We want to introduce people to the adventure that a life with Christ can bring, and then challenge and encourage them to live a life of significance. Our identity is rooted in Jesus, and we desire to reflect His life and love through our worship, teaching, and service.

WHY WE EXIST

WE EXIST...

To glorify and enjoy God as we love Jesus and love others.

WE DESIRE TO SEE...

TRANSFORMATION - To see the Gospel of Jesus transform both individual life and community, leading us to glorify God and enjoy Him forever!

CONNECTION - To see the Gospel connect people to God and each other, while welcoming all to explore faith and express doubts.

COMMUNITY - To be a Gospel Community developing a vibrant and healthy culture by engaging physical, mental, and spiritual needs. To facilitate the advancement of Gospel centered communities (churches) in the Connemara, Ireland, and the World!

We Believe

GOD

We believe in one God, The Father, The Almighty, Maker of Heaven and Earth, of all that is, seen and unseen.

We believe in One Lord, Jesus Christ, the only Son of God, eternally begotten of The Father, God from God, Light from Light, True God from True God, begotten not made, of One Being with The Father, through Him all things were made, for us and for our salvation He came down from heaven by the power of the holy spirit he became incarnate from the Virgin Mary, and was made man. for our sake he was crucified under Pontius Pilate; he suffered death and was buried, on the third day he rose again in accordance with the scriptures; he ascended into heaven and is seated at the right hand of the father. he will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and his kingdom will have no end.

We believe in the Holy Spirit, the lord, the giver of life, who proceeds from the father (and the son). with the father and the son he is worshipped and glorified he has spoken through the prophets.

we believe in one holy catholic and apostolic church. we acknowledge one baptism for the forgiveness of sins. we look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the world to come. amen

AND HE SAID, "I AM THE GOD OF YOUR FATHER ABRAHAM, THE GOD OF ISAAC, AND THE GOD OF JACOB."

EXODUS 3:14

HIS WORD

We believe that the Bible is the complete, perfect, infallible Word of God. It is the way in which God communicates with us. From beginning to end the Bible is a unified story about God’s passionate mission to restore, redeem, and rescue His people. Although there are many different characters in the Bible, the main character is Jesus Christ, the Saviour of the entire world. Everything in the Bible points to Jesus.

FOR NO PROPHECY WAS EVER PRODUCED BY THE WILL OF MAN, BUT MEN SPOKE FROM GOD AS THEY WERE CARRIED ALONG BY THE HOLY SPIRIT.

2 PETER 1:21

HIS CHURCH

We believe that the Lord Jesus is the true authority for the church. The church exists to continue Jesus’ mission of restoring and rescuing mankind by pointing mankind to Jesus the redeemer and living out his upside-down kingdom. The church is not a building, but the church is the living breathing body of Christ. We who follow Christ are the church, and apart from Him, we can do nothing.

I AM THE VINE; YOU ARE THE BRANCHES. IF YOU REMAIN IN ME AND I IN YOU, YOU WILL BEAR MUCH FRUIT; APART FROM ME YOU CAN DO NOTHING.

JOHN 15:5

VALUES

GENEROSITY

We seek to make sure the money given to the Church is used wisely. We want to serve others with what God has blessed us with. We pledge to make the question, "How much can we possibly give away?" our top priority when it comes to our financial strategy. Our books are always open and we hope you are able to get as excited about giving as we are.

All Welcome

You will find this written on our door and we mean it. Everyone should feel welcome at church! You don't have to have it all figured out before you show up. You are welcome to come even if you don't believe. We want to be a place where doubters feel their questions are noticed and taken seriously. This is why we welcome and encourage questions. At Community Christian Church you can belong even before you believe.

Gospel Centrality

We believe the most important thing we have to offer people is Jesus. This means we centre everything we do around the person and work of Jesus. The Gospel (good news) of Jesus is central to understanding who we are and why we are here.

Community

Our value of community is twofold. Firstly, we have a commitment to be a community of christians who care for one another and meet each others needs. Secondly, we want to be a blessing to the community of Moycullen.
